Meet your pet’s new best friend

I’m Jacquie (like “jackie”), the heart behind Fleur de Leash, and I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories are of playing with all kinds of creatures on my grandmother’s farm – from goats and miniature horses to chickens and even frogs I’d scoop up from the pond. Animals have always been a huge part of my life.

My first pet was a sweet rat named Marshmellow, who joined the family when I was in first grade. Then came Zeek, my beloved dog and best friend until I was 17. Now, I’m the proud pet parent of two senior chiweenies, Roscoe and Jasper, who fill my home with love and personality.

Over the years, I’ve expanded my furry (and sometimes scaly) family even further – for the past few years, I’ve been fostering infant baby squirrels, and I’ve always had a soft spot for rats. People often say I have a knack for loving the “unloved” – rats, squirrels, lizards, snakes… you name it!

I’ve been pet sitting and walking dogs for over 15 years, Whether they have fur, feathers, or scales, I believe every critter is special, and I’m committed to making sure your pets feel safe, loved, and happy when they’re with me.

Looking for a cozy spot for your pet to stay while you’re away? Welcome to Camp McCarley – a fun, safe, and comfortable overnight boarding experience for pets of all kinds! Barkonauts

For the adventurous pup with a taste for exploration, Barkonauts is the perfect outing! We’ll take your dog on an unforgettable adventure to explore local trails or splash in the waves at the beach. These trips are usually off-leash, letting your dog enjoy freedom and fun in safe environments, but we can keep things on-leash if that’s what you (or your dog!) prefers. Get ready for a tired, happy dog after their day as a Barkonaut!

For dogs who love a good romp in the park, Barks & Rec is all about fun in enclosed spaces.
